Six powers,
two civilizations

Home world & civilization

In one of the Giant Elliptical Galaxies there exists an inhabited planet hidden far from the eyes of outsiders. For 500 Ancestral generations the Umarians have endured and flourished there, growing to three billion inhabitants — descendants of an older race they call The Ancestors, whose origins have been almost entirely lost.

“One planet. One people. One future.”

Security & intelligence authority

Metamorphosis gave the Umarians extraordinary abilities — and took their memory of where they came from. The P.S.O. was created to preserve Ancestral history while keeping it hidden from the general population, and it has held that secret for over 500 generations.

“Structure keeps us safe. Discipline keeps us alive.”

Independent scientific consortium

An independent collaborative consortium of Umarian scientists, engineers, physicians and technologists. The Alliance collaborates with the P.S.O. Scientific Research Division, sharing knowledge and resources to advance Umarian enhancement and the well-being of all Umarian lives — while pursuing a theory about Meta-energy the P.S.O. would rather no one pursued.

“Knowledge without wisdom is merely information.”

Planetary military

Umara's military, responsible for strategic defense operations, force readiness and planetary protection. For 500 generations it has trained for an enemy it was told not to discuss. During the Marconian attack it leads the planetary defense with precision, discipline and unwavering resolve.

“Preparation today. Protection tomorrow. Victory always.”
