Umara

“One planet. One people. One future.”

Overview

In one of the Giant Elliptical Galaxies there exists an inhabited planet hidden far from the eyes of outsiders. For 500 Ancestral generations the Umarians have endured and flourished there, growing to three billion inhabitants — descendants of an older race they call The Ancestors, whose origins have been almost entirely lost.

Blue, silver and gold. Clean architecture, hope, science, knowledge, civilization.

Doctrine & history

How it came to be this way

01
Hidden by design
Thick cosmic dust clouds surrounding Umara ensure the planet remains concealed from the rest of the universe. Maintaining that secrecy is the P.S.O.'s highest priority.
02
Year Zero A.U.
The Ancestors originated on a planet in another distant galaxy before discovering and settling on Umara — marking what became known as Year Zero A.U. (After Umara).
03
One language
The Ancestors originally spoke many different languages. Over more than 500 generations those languages gradually blended into a single unified Umarian language.
04
The renaming
The Ancestors ultimately renamed themselves the Umarians, believing Umara had unlocked the greatest potential within them. The original planetary name they chose became classified knowledge known only to the P.S.O.
