About this hull
The Slator is a crystalline wedge that stops being a ship and becomes a distortion. In Full Refractor Mode the hull bends light around itself, presenting a prismatic cloak that Umarian sensors were never built to resolve. As Saudran puts it: the Marcos fighters have some type of refractor cloak — they adapted since they attacked the Ancestors generations ago.
The Slator is the Empire's opening move against Umara, and the reason the Umarian fleet has to improvise mid-engagement.

What the plates show
- 01
Full Refractor Mode
A refractor cloak that Umarian doctrine had no counter for. “Send fifteen Slator fighters. Activate Refractor mode.” — Corokor Xagger.
- 02
Prismatic faceting
The faceted hull scatters light across the visible spectrum, leaving only a shifting chromatic smear where a fighter should be.
- 03
Violet core drive
The rear aperture carries a single violet drive bloom — the one consistently visible signature when the cloak is active.
